Bio
I graduated from Seoul National University in 2025 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences, where I conducted undergraduate research in the Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Genetics. My research focused on the role of USF2 in liver regeneration and breast cancer, investigating how it regulates tissue repair and YAP signaling using molecular biology approaches. This experience sparked my interest in understanding how gene expression is regulated in different cellular contexts and how its dysregulation contributes to disease. I joined the Jovanovic Lab in 2026 and am interested in studying how RNA-protein interactions coordinate gene expression across diverse cellular states. When I’m not in the lab, I enjoy baking, where even the occasional failed experiment still tastes pretty good.
